The DnnBro PhotoCapture module is available in the Dnn Store.
Allow the user to capture a photo and store it in the DotNetNuke user profile - or use the module to capture photos in a session variable to be used for display elsewhere in the site or in a different module requiring a photo of the user. Storing it in a database table for later use is also an option.
It has been built for many different purposes - my own use for it was originally to capture a photo of the user in order to create a keycard on the fly, but later on it has also been used in conjunction with my latest module DnnBro BrainBreak allowing the user to play a sliding puzzle game with the captured photo.
The module supports both mouse and touch controls – and if the user have both options available it is possible to switch between the two. If the user have several cameras installed a switch button is shown allowing the user to switch between cameras.
A fullscreen option is available, giving the user the ability to use the entire screen when capturing and editing the photo which is very usefull on mobile devices.
