 I got DNN cms from a company and i want to setup on my local. I have opened it in visual studio and run with IIS Express. I am getting this error. http://localhost:8186/Install/InstallWizard.aspx Server Error in &39;/&39; Application. The resource cannot be found. Can anybody help me

 I have never seen this before.  New machine so I set up IIS and SQL as normal. I can install 8.04 but any attempt to upgrade to advised next version fails with an Object cannot be null.  An attempt to install 9.8 also fails but much earlier in the install process than the upgrades.   At 34 clean and 68 upgrades. No logs so que pasa SQL express 2019 .Net on my machine says 4.5 but if I attempt to install 4.8 windows says already installed. It seems .Net 5 ...

I have backups from before when they went down, and I have a spare tower with an old version of Windows Server. I am thinking about configuring it and installing ~5 DNN sites, putting it on a static ip I own, and operating that way until managed.com comes back (if they do). My first question is, would I be better off upgrading to a current version of Windows Server, or would Windows 10 Pro be good enough for this purpose

I am doing some tests to deploy dnn9.0 in a kubernetes platform. The kubernete version is 1.14. I am using ingress to access DNN. Everything is working well before enabling TLS in ingress. 2 Replies and 1443 Views Moving a database...     1443 2 Started by Peter Schotman - 40Fingers A client of mine moved his database to another server (I believe it is Azure), but now the site triggers a upgrade/install cycle, luckily this is unsuccessful since there is no install script. Has anyone seen this  BTW When I try to connect to this database from the sql console (I can do this because both connection strings are in the web.config) all seems fine, I can run select and insert queries, so it seems to me that there is no problem in reaching the database...  Team, I am fresh installing DNN and everything goes fine along the installation wizard. Then the "Visit Website" button appears, and bum, a DNN error page appears, with DNN logo and all saying "No sites currently exist for this installation. - 503 Service Unavailable". My setup is a Cloud Server with Windows Server 2012 R2, .NET 4.5 installed, IIS 8.5 and SQL Server Express 2012. I have installed both DNN versions without any issue under Windows 10 Pro localhost...

9 Replies and 2496 Views New Version 9.7.1 install     2496 9 Started by Jeff I just installed version 9.7.1 on a new site, and all seems to be working so far, but one issue I noticed is that in the tab at the top of the window where the title and favicon can be found, the following message follows the title; (Beta Version: 9.7.1.3)  How do I remove this It is not showing up in the site settings, page setting, default.aspx or web.config files.

 Dear Sir, I install the DNN source 9.7.2, rebuild the solution with visualstudio 2019 and create the website following instruction, after the view of website give error on file not found for skin files. The xcillion skin folder under DNN Platform\website\portals\_default\skins doesn&39;t exist. I also noted a new website folder created by the build at the same level of the folder DNN Platform. Do you have some suggestions to resolve this issue. Thank you Philippe
