6 Replies and 1055 Views Upgrade 9.1.1 to later version  1055  6 Started by  Ronnie My DNN Instance has about 20 websites running on it, I have been using DNN since around Version 1 and I always perform backups so I can fall back to the version that I try to upgrade.  This time I am not finding a good upgrade path and have spent countless hours on the project.  I am almost ready to give up on upgrading, but I would like fo install store software for a non-profit I am in charge of as a volunteer. I performed a upgrade from 9.1.1 to 9.3.2 then to 9.50 and had two pro...

11 Replies and 1013 Views Upgrade - Skin failure - Gravity  1013  11 Started by  Ronnie
(Topic has multiple pages1 2 )
I upgraded 9.1.1 to 9.3.2 then to 9.5.0 per dnndocs suggested upgrade path.  Everything but the Gravity Skin works fine.  If I am logged on then the skin displays correctly.  If I am not logged in the data, menus and graphics are there but the skin is not applied.  I also have found that if I edit each page and apply the skin to individually to the page it seems to fix the issue on most pages, but not all. I have double check the configuration and applied the skin again...

3 Replies and 1011 Views Removing all traces of Telerik  1011  3 Started by  Steve Elsbury Having recently upgraded to 9.1.1 (on my way to 9.3.2) I switched the editor to the DNN Connect CKE Editor, and removed the old telerik editor from the web.config, but I still see MANY entries scattered about that refer to the Telerik assemblies - e,g, In Modules, there is an entry for the RADUploadModule In handlers, there is the RADProgressHandler,  Telerik.Web.UI.WebResource and Telerik.Web.UI.ChartHttpHandler, and there are also many duplicate entries (9 in fact) looking like...

1 Replies and 281 Views Edit Pages and Html Modules  281  1 Started by  Jesse I recently upgraded our site from 8.0.4 to 9.4.  Everything seemed to be running well until I ran across a page that would not let me enter edit mode.  After some googling, I found a post that said click the edit button multiple times and you can enter edit mode.  I did this and it worked, but I&39;m still not able to edit any HTML modules on the page.  I&39;ve attached a screen shot of html module and how it looks when I try to edit it.  I need help getting this resol...

1 Replies and 201 Views Upgrade to 9.5.0 Build error  201  1 Started by  Cmis Hi,  I have upgraded my local development environment to 9.5.0 and the site works fine. However when I come to build our solution I get: The type &39;PortalModuleBase&39; is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly &39;DotNetNuke, Version=9.2.1.533. I have gone through every project and checked that the DotNetNuke.dll referenced is the 9.5.0 one in the bin folder. And when I double click the error and go through to the definition of Por...
