I tried to add some required fields for the registration function of one of my sites, and cannot seem to get it to work. it shows that the update cannot be performed, and the field line shows the input is invalid. Even if I leave it blank, it does the same thing.
I'm talking about when a new user registers, the fields it requires to be filled in to allow a new member to register.
I'm attaching a screenshot that is two combined to one to show the errors I'm getting. screenshot to show what is happening. Any ideas? Could I have missed a setting somewhere?

Ok, I figured it out. It's the line below the Registration Fields line, Display name format. Worked perfectly.
