Module are distributed as PAs (Packed Assemblies), consisting of a zip file, you select in Personabar > Manage > Extensions (DNN3-8: Host > Extensions). If you are using a recent version, installed assemblies are after install copied to AppData\ExtensionPackages and renamed as ".resources" to prevent download via http/https.

Will I be able to get the ".resources" file from a system running DNN 7?

I am not sure, just check the folder I mentioned above, whether it contains the file.
Besides, in Host > Extensions you should find the name, vendor and version of the module installed

Yup, I found the files and I am able to get the module from there and intall it elsewhere.

I am able to see the vendor and version of the module but they have already put this module to a halt.

Thank you so much, you have helped me a lot.
