While trying new meta tag using Persona bar menu:
Settings / Site Settings / Site Behavior / Default Pages /HTML Page Header Tags
I copied and pasted the wrong text, a tag script without its closing tag, saved
and after a refresh persona bar is no more available.
Now the header contents are wrongly parsed messing up js and css.
Are this data saved on db? I have limited access to the server on wich DNN runs.

    Thanks in advance,

Yes, that data is stored in the database.

The easiest way to fix this is to restore to a recent backup. If this is a hosted DNN install, the hoster may have a recent backup even if you didn't make one. I'd start there or with whoever manages the server, to see if they have daily backups, snapshots or something similar.

If no, then you're going to need access to the database, usually with SQL Server Management Studio.

(Note that almost every setting is stored in the database. Page settings are stored in the TabSettings table.)

Thank you for your help Craig.
As you said, settings are saved on DB and this one in particular can be retrieved using this query:
select settingvalue from PortalSettings where settingname='PageHeadText'.

Hope this will help someone else in trouble.

        Regards,
        Giannni
