I see we recently got a new table on the database called AuthCookies. I guess this is used by the new GDPR stuff introduced recently in DNN. But how does it work? What does the info on that table mean?
On some clients websites we see that we have there thousands of records and the table is becoming quite large.
Should the records here be deleted from time to time? Is that done already and I just didn't find where?
We're just discussing it at the MVP meeting - here some insights:
Created here: https://github.com/dnnsof...rtalSecurity.cs#L550
Checked and removed in the cookie - but not in the DB here: https://github.com/dnnsof...ication.cs#L211-L220
Seems to be an oversight. Peter said he would have a quick look at it ;)
As promised, Peter is looking into it... Thanks, Peter! :)
