Hi Guys,
I was able to add new CSS for a more responsive layout of the resource manager, so the files / folders change their layout depending on the device / screen size. Happy to share the CSS Source if anyne wants to have a look.
One thing I'm interested in is making the textual descriptions on files and folders longer. The current limitation is too short! Any ideas on how to achieve this?
Thanks,
Mike Palmer.
Mike, that sounds great, why don't you make a pull request on Github? (I think the affected file is this one)
Happy DNNing! Michael

I'm one of those community members that is going to spend time on this. I think we all agree some improvements are needed.
The issue can be found here: https://github.com/dnnsof...Platform/issues/4612
But IMO we first need to fix this: https://github.com/dnnsof...Platform/issues/4974
As that will make custom styling much easier if one needs it.

Can you post your CSS as a comment to the ticket mentioned before?
I'll add my CSS as soon as I can - about to go on vacation, so will do it on my return.
I also found the React.js code for lengthening the folder / file descriptions and removed the unwieldly CSS injections from the React.js code and changed it to the module.css in the resource manager root.
I will do one more thing - add functionality to open in the browser from the file menu in RM.
Regards,
Mike.
After upgrade to 9.10.2 some of the svg icons located in the new resource manager images directory do not show up. some of the svg files in the same directory render in the browser when double clicked but the edit move and delete svg files appear blank in the browser. it seems that the image is there but transparent for this subset of svg files
in addition, when i look at the url that is injected into the page, it is malformed, including the host but skipping the site name.
this appears to be an assumption that the site root is not a virtual directory.
i also dont see the svg files or the images directory in the resource manager even after clicking the synch folders and subfolders.
what am i seeing here?? Are they somehow bad in the downloaded zip file for 9.10.2 update?
In 9.11.1 - the new resource manager looks great...
Question however, where is the 'Get URL' for the asset. It used to be on the 'right-click' menu when clicking on an asset. That feature was really nice so that the url can be used in HTML modules and such.
This feature was available in the 9.9.1 version.

Right click the file and select "Copy Url" from the context menu.
Hi Mike, Thank you for the response... However that is the problem. It is no longer there in 9.11.1.
This feature was in 9.11
v9.11.1 looks like this:
This is what it looked like in v9.11.0
