Updating a theme's bootstrap and Jquery files properly

    Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well!

    I currently have a site that needs to update its jquery and bootstrap.

    A kind user here has led me to the artifacts to use. I now have the jquery, bootstrap and popper.js artifacts

    However, after applying them to the site via the DNN Persona bar's Extension page, I see that the site still uses the theme's own bootstrap file

    My questions are:
     - by adding the extensions thru these artifacts, should my site's theme have automatically updated?
     - how do you properly updatet he theme's jquery and bootstrap (or any file for that matter) do we have to get dirty and modify source code or is there a tool in the Persona Bar that one can use?

      Some questions:
      Which version of DNN?
      Which Theme?
      What did you actually add as extensions, and how?
