I upgraded DNN to 9.8 but I have several core modules that show newer versions.  Where can I find the module upgrades at?

    Thanks,

Your HTML module should be version 9.8.0.

If you see that upgrades to 10.0.x are available for other DNN modules, I'm pretty sure that is an issue with the upgrade notification. Don't believe it for any module installed with the upgrade! (There is an issue with the upgrade notification service.)

        Thanks for the update.

That being said, at one point in time DNN offered a download location for core modules - is that no more?

We need to be careful with language. There are module that are shipped with DNN (Authentication, HTML, Digital Asset Management) , and there are other modules (Form & List, Blog, Events, etc.) that were known core modules and, at one time, were called "core" modules.

Some time back the core modules were removed from the the DNN packages. The core modules were created and maintained by community members who mostly all were volunteers. Waiting for upgrades of those modules greatly complicated the process of simultaneously releasing DNN Platform upgrades along with upgrades to the core modules.

The core modules are now known as Community Modules and live at https://github.com/DNNCommunity.

FYI, several Community Modules have been released in the last week or so in versions that are free of Telerik dependencies.
