Does anyone have any performance tuning tips as viewed from Lighthouse's perspective?

to be more specific, it identified this deficiency (among others):

Consider reducing the time spent parsing, compiling and executing JS. You may find delivering smaller JS payloads helps with this. Learn more

i have not written any of the code on my home page and am reluctant to go futzing around with different vendor's css and javascipt. it is all 3d party components, dnn included.

my desktop score is good, but the mobile score is quite mediocre. the above snippet was for the mobile analysis.

i use compression on iis server and with javascript and css using dnn settings.

It's hard to try to answer this question without digging into the site, and not knowing which modules might be involved.

You might want to try a site (perhaps a second empty site in the same installation) using the same skin but empty. Then see if the scores are ok. If not, it would at least point a finger at the skin.

      Does anyone else have suggestions.

If you could pin this down to the skin or certain modules, you could try to get help from the associated developers.
