    Hi,

One of our clients reported an issue where opening the URL caused the site to crash with a Too Many Redirects error. This only happens when the URL is the Home Page. Any other page (like the login page or on of our custom module page) loads fine. We have temporarily redirected the site to load the login page instead of the Home Page but I would still like to solve this issue.

I checked the PortalSettings, HostSettings, PortalAlias table. All looked fine. The AutoAddAlias is set to N and PortalAliasMapping is set to NONE. The aliases also points to the right URL.

Anything particular that I am missing is causing this? I tried everything I could from an admin standpoint. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Note: They are using the DNN 9.7.2 version and they recently migrated from 8.0.4

First make sure the Home page Type is set to standard.
Also I would check the TabUrls table.
That contains previous urls for pages and when moving pages around you can create an infinite loop that way.

I have verified that the Home Page type is set to Standard and the TabUrls table looks good. The issue still persists.
