Upgrading DNN

    I am attempting to upgrade from DNN 08.00.04 to 09.01.01 (a recommended upgrade step) and the installer fails the with following error. Please help.

      Hi,
      Which package are you using for upgrading? There shouldn't be a \DotNetNukeGlobal folder...
      Go to https://github.com/dnnsof.../releases/tag/v9.1.1 and be sure of downloading the "DNN_Platform_9.1.1.129-232_Upgrade.zip" package.

        There's a file that DNN needs to delete which it cannot access. This is often a result of virus scanning creating locks on files. Can you exclude that file, or pause your virus scanner during the install?
