The admin-> page management page is blank and I see these errors on the   [EventLog]

    Could not load type 'Dnn.Modules.Tabs.Components.TabsController'.
Invalid column name 'TabIsDeleted'.Invalid column name 'TabEndDate'.Invalid column name 'TabEndDate'.Invalid column name TabStartDate'.Invalid column name 'TabStartDate'.

Is this on the dev site, the production site, or both?

That's an odd error for this scenario. Does the error persist after an upgrade attempt?

This is a dev site. I was given a site backup and a db backup. I restored and set the site up. I first wanted to check everything before I update the update. I did not apply the update yet.

The following are the errors i see in the database. Is the update given to me not complete? Or Am I doing anything wrong?

I am able to see my site and its pages. But I would like to see the pagemenagement since there are many pages which are either not being used or under construction.

          Invalid column name 'TabIsDeleted'.
          Invalid column name 'TabEndDate'.
          Invalid column name 'TabEndDate'.
          Invalid column name 'TabStartDate'.
          Invalid column name 'TabStartDate'.
          Could not load type 'Dnn.Modules.Console.Components.BusinessController'.
          Could not load type 'Dnn.Modules.Tabs.Components.TabsController'.
          Could not load type 'Dnn.Modules.Console.Components.BusinessController'.
          Could not load type 'Dnn.Modules.Console.Components.BusinessController'.

So, this is a copy of the production site?

I would delete your dev site and redo it.

Ok I redid my site in 7.4.0 which it was initially and updated it to 7.4.2 . All worked great. When I moved to 8.0.0 it did not I am getting an error CS0234 saying namespace Vendors not found. Is there any document to help me move from 7 to 8?

Do I have to remove anything related to banner.ascx.cs? What is the change from 7 to 8?

              Thanks

It looks like someone else had a very similar issue here. Do the posts there help at all?

I followed https://github.com/roman-....0-update.1 and after that my page loads but the skins alignments are not working properly. On the default.aspx page i see only the master page like content. The left menu and the top page content of the original site.

The actual content frame is not loaded.

                  I see the following errors

Unhandled Error Adding Module to ContentPane.    at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Pane.InjectModule(ModuleInfo module)     at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Pane pane, ModuleInfo module)
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.    at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Pane.LoadModuleContainer(ModuleInfo module)     at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Pane.InjectModule(ModuleInfo module)
Unhandled error loading module. Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.SolPartActions'.
                  Unhandled error loading module.
                  Unhandled error loading module.
                  Unhandled error loading page.

I updated from 7.4.2 to 8.0.0  Since update to 8.0.4 failed

I have only one error left out (as below)... but what I noticed is... this error automatically happens every 5 minutes without me accessign any page on the site. is there any kind of scheduler or something on the site?

                      Thanks
