    Hi, guys!

Wow, nice new site with all the heavy hitters here! Yowsa!

I've been researching how to add a customized Donation Button from Paypal on our site. (Basically, you configure the Buy Now Button and then change the image from Paypal to Donation.) We want to be able to allow folks to give donations in Honor or in Memory of someone, but to do that, they need an input box for the Name of the person they want to honor and the name and address of who the acknowledgement should be sent to. (Usually the family.)

As I've found out, using the regular Paypal button code on DNN sites doesn't work because DNN/ASP.NET is basically one big form itself so putting the code in just refreshes the same page you are on.

I have the regular button working using the a href hack that I found here (a lot of other answers had link rot)

    https://stackoverflow.com...tton-in-asp-net-page

This works for the regular Paypal button but the customized button has a lot more code to it.

However, I see that the iframe module is still available at github. While it isn't in the core, it still seems to be updated.

In an 8.04 installation, couldn't I just install the iframe module and put the regular Paypal code inside of it?

    Thanks for any feedback!

    KP

      KP,

the IFrame module is still being maintained, and it should work as expected - at least there are no bug reports in the issues section.

      Happy DNNing!

From my experience, the hack of changing the form should work with both types.

Using an iFrame can work, but the user experience isn't often that great, as PayPal doesn't break the frame, so the user tries to "finish" the process inside of the smaller frame.

            Lee,

The "DNN Community Modules" are hosted on GitHub.  In this case, https://github.com/DNNCommunity/DNN.IFrame

              Mitch,

Forget it! It was a stupid mistake on my part! I've edited out the question.
