I have recently performed an upgrade from 9.1.1 to 9.3.2.24 to 9.9.1

    I have had these issues

    1. DataSprings - Dynamic Forms - SQL Initial SQL Databind became Disabled and SQL default value for Text became Enter Option which was the SQL code
    2. Reports (needs to be 6.2.3) the Grid Lines became None

Not sure why the upgrade would knock these out.

Luckily on this platform I did not use those feature extensively.

I will be very cautious before upgrading other platforms to 9.9.1

Will probably write some SQL to find those setting to ensure I can replace them quickly i.e. not manually :-)

please be aware that DNN 9.2.0 introduced a number of breaking changes due to obsolete interfaces from earlier versions had been removed. please report your findings to the issue tracker of the modules (e.g. for reports on github at https://github.com/DNNCom.../DNN.Reports/issues)

Following Sebastian's comment, you probably need to upgrade the Dynamic Forms and the Reports module.

          Hi All

I may have committed the cardinal sin - changing two things at once!!!

The upgrade to 9.9.1 meant that Reports upgrade to 6.2.3 was required.

Also as I was running DataSprings Dynamic forms at 7.4.x, not necessarily the latest.

I have a comparison of reports Module Settings and hope to publish my findings here, with the week (before 22/7/21).

I need to do some more work, on a test platform for Dynamic Forms.

NOTE - This is a challenging time as I have built a DNN solution that relies 100% on Reports and Dynamic Forms and an in built prerquisite the SQL Bind in Dynamic Forms relies upon a parameter passed by Forms.

However, that said, I am still super impressed by both and will work hard to find the items that need to be discovered prior to moving from one version of DNN to another and from these Modules (one 'free' and one 'paid for').

I will feedback as best I can in the near future :-)
