I have implemented DNN as my main intranet page, and in so doing uploaded my Favicon that now works beautifully on my site. However, when I go to another site on my server (not my DNN site), it shows the default DNN favicon. How can I change this?

you could place favicon.ico file in root of your other site
or place a "link" element like this in the html delivered by the other site

      < link rel='SHORTCUT ICON' href='url-or-path-here/favicon.ico' type='image/x-icon' >

You normally set the favicon for a DNN portal by using the UI at Settings, Site Settings in the Persona Bar.

The favicon file in the root directory of the DNN installation is the default for portals that do not have a favicon. So, it you replace it, it will be used for all portals. If you delete the favicon from the root, then other portals will not display a fav icon. (You may need to clear the cache and restart the application for this to occur. You may also need to clear your local browser's cache.)

if your other site uses same domain name as your DNN site, the favicon might be looked up from the DNN website. Please make sure to specify a favicon for you non-DNN site, like James mentioned above.
