I have DNN 9.10 website, with 2 portals.

There is this problem i can not get hold of to fix.

    These are my steps:

    1. Go to your dnnsite → www.yourdomain.com/nl-be/login
      Login whit your credentials.
    2. after i get logged in i am redirected to https://www.yourdomain.com/nl-be/  (So far so good)

    3. When i go to www.yourdomain.com (without language → the personabar is there without icons/buttons.)

    4. When i go to site aliases → i have these settings:
      1. www.yourdomain.com/nl-BE   → nl-BE  → primary YES
      2. www.yourdomain.com             → nl-BE  → No
      3. www.yourdomain.com/fr-FR   → fr-Fr → No

How can we fix this that www.yourdomain.com → redirects to www.yourdomain.com/nl-BE

Try to change www.yourdomain.com (#2 in the list above) to the primary domain (and remove that flag from www.yourdomain.com/nl-BE). Then restart the application pool. Does that work?

      Happy DNNing!

you should have one primary alias for each language alias and one neutral one for the landing page, i.e.

        1. www.yourdomain.com                → (neutral)  → primary YES
        2. www.yourdomain.com/nl-BE     → nl-BE       → primary YES
        3. www.yourdomain.com/fr-FR      → fr-FR       → primary YES

            3. www.yourdomain.com/fr-FR      → fr-FR       → primary YES

I would like to change site alias like you describe above but it's not working properly in DNN.
First i go to https://www.yourdomain.be/fr-fr/ → because i can not edit nl-be or without.

Is this behavior inside dnn sitebehavior normal that when i change https://www.yourdomain.be/nl-be → To primary site,
            it's unchecking https://www.yourdomain.be automaticly

And if I do this in the other way i get the same result. (only different direction)

But you can change values in database as well. → in table PortalAlias, there i set the value to true.
After that i did restart and i get the same result as screenshot above.

I have some question about personabar:
→ does the personabar require the language to work properly?

I think we need to solve this in a different way.
If we use only https://www.yourdomain.be it should redirect the site to https://www.yourdomain.be/nl-be  (then the problem is gone)

The problem only exists for the logged in users.

Please note that your browser caches the redirects generated, which can get really confusing (and is very annoying)
Always test this in a new Private window, or you might get confused.
