I am working on upgrading my DNN websites. which was 7.4 and planning on going to 9.3
After 8.0 update, and plans to remove telerik items (not done yet). I noticed that Date pickers are no longer working. research seem to indicate to use more of a java base datepicker.
I have also updated the Forms and List module to ver 6.5.0 but all my dates have gone to a text field and date picker is non-existant. what options do I have available to me for date selection.
if I continue with upgrade to dnn 9.3 will a later version of Forms and List correct this?
Thanks
What I would do is start over. 8.0 is not the moment to remove telerik. 9.8 is the first option to remove telerik. So, first take the steps on https://docs.dnncommunity...ade-path/index.html. Form and list 6.5.5 is the version with out Telerik.https://github.com/DNNCom...FormAndList/releases so you want that one before removing Telerik.
Then the beloved: https://docs.dnncommunity...val/index.html
In addition to Tycho's post: Keep in mind that you can't remove Telerik if you are using extensions that are dependent on it. Before removing Telerik, you have to upgrade these extensions (if there are newer versions) or replace them by something else, if the newest version is still dependent on Telerik (e.g. DNN.Events, Dnn.FAQ). A useful tool for that is the DnnTelerikIdentifier.

Dnn FAQ was another module I noticed that needed updating. I may have miss spoke just a little. I am planning on removing telerik, has not been removed yet. but I got several error with FAQ mod not loading and Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.UI.WebControls.SolPartActions' after my upgrade from 7.4 to 8.1 I found this site below that seems to address the SolPartAction Error; In the mean time all my datePickers stopped working also, which goes to my initial question above. https://stackoverflow.com...trols-solpartactions
also on Forms and List, any Date field has turned to text input. any way to correct this?
