Can anyone help me troubleshoot this error message on a FnL CSV import?

Column '' does not belong to table UserDefinedTable.

I've even reduced the import to a single column and still get the error.

Once this error occurs, the module cannot be accessed and I must delete it and start over.

    Thank you.

It's hard to diagnose without seeing anything, but ...

The error message seems to imply that you have a column in the CSV file either with no name or '' as the name. I'd have to see the file to know. Also, I'd need to look at the FnL table - I haven't looked at that module for years.

One suggestion would be to create a test entry into the list, and then do a CSV export from the module (assuming it will do a CSV export). Then you could compare the exported file with the one that you want to import, comparing column names.

Ignore if this is not helpful: the FnL is old, and there are probably better solutions. I'd go with a structured content solution like 2sxc or Open Content. Both of those are open source. If you don't mind paying a modest amount, try Mandeeps' Live Content (if I got the name right)

Thank you, Joe. That helped. My CSV export from Excel was inserting a comma after the last column. So I think the error message was expressing that comma as a quote. Once I removed the the last comma it worked fine. Much appreciated.
