All my extension installs on DNN 9.1.1 are failing with the folllowing message:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

    Zip File Upload Failed

An unknown error has occured. Please check your installation zip file and try again.
Common issues with bad installation files:

    • Zip file size is too large, check your IIS settings for max upload file size.
    • Missing resources in the zip file.
    • Invalid files in the package.
    • File extension is not .zip.
    • Check that you are logged in.

did you unblock the install/upgrade zip file (in file properties, first tab near the bottom) prior to unzipping the files contained?

Are you referring to the install files for DNN or the extensions? The install files for DNN were provided by the web hosting company. I have installed extensions successfully in the past with this DNN installation.

there might also be a permission issue - the Windows user for the ASP.Net process (as configured in advanced settings of the Application Pool) needs write permission to the DNN website folder and all subfolders.

Could you please explain how I would go about updating the permissions in a shared web hosting environment?

I'm not convinced it is a permisssions issue though. I have installed extensions successfully before on this installation of DNN.
