I noticed recently that all the sites I have upgraded to the latest version suffer from the same problem.

I send out emails from forms and since the upgrade that has become a problem with me getting the following errors reported:

Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 <host@>... we do not relay

I have removed the full email address.

I have changed nothing since the upgrade; I am using the same SMTP server at dnn4less with the host email, and the same SMTP username. They then changed the password and it did then work but not the following day.

Is something resetting the SMTP server password?

There is nothing that comes with DNN that would change the SMTP password for any reason. If it's changing then, either there is something added to DNN that is doing it, or that is happening outside of DNN somewhere.

After reading this and the other post you updated today, I'm starting to wonder what is in your DNN instance... These are not normal issues.
