I've created a new custom authentication provider (logon, logoff, settings) and it works as supposed.

The only thing i've noticed is that the logon.aspx no more appears as a pop-up window (it appears as a standard page), even when i disable ste standard DNN Auth. provider.

    Any ideas anyone.

I don't know why this is the case, but I would look at the default provider to see how it's done.

I've done exactly that. Copied the default and:

-added a line of code in the logon.vb (i've done it in VB)
-added logoff.ascx with another line of code

Even when both providers are Enabled, no popup.

Well, after further investigation it looks like it is not possible as DNN treats every provider that is not of type "DNN" as SocialAuthentication. Check line 171 in ...\Website\admin\Skins\Login.ascx.cs
