    Does DNN support LDAPS?

    Thanks -

DNN itself doesn't necessarily "support" LDAP, but if you need to authenticate using LDAP, there are a number of options for you.  They include the DNN AD Module, Glanton's module suite, and more...

        Thanks for your reply Will,

We are already using AD-Pro for AD / LDAP authentication on our intranet DNN site. So (from what you're saying) it sounds as though AD-Pro will allow us to switch to using LDAPS.
Do you know if there are any issues we should consider? (Maybe I should ask AD-Pro support about this as well) .

        Thanks again -

        Tom

          Hello Tom:

There are all kinds of things to consider, but having knowledgeable people on both sides of the LDAP connection will be what you really will want to try to be sure of.  The number of things that could come into play is a long list.  :)

Contacting support would be a great option.  That's what I would do in most use cases like this.

            Thanks Will.
I've been trying to contact Glanton (Ad-Pro) support about this and a few other items but have gotten no reply. I hope they are still active. Ad-Pro works great on our intranet site, but I hope it's going to continue to be supported.

Does the DNN AD Module work well for the same functionality (integrating DNN logins with an AD system? Is that solution still being supported?

            Thanks again

            Tom
