Remove "social"pages

    I never found a real use for the pages "Activity feed"; "Friends" or "Messages".

    Does anyone know if I can I delete those pages from a site without crashing the site?

      you may safely remove pages activity feed and Friends, but if messaging is turned on in site settings, you need to enable messages as well.
