    Under each posting on the forums there is the "Tag" or, whatever, the proper technical term is.  Such as "New Member" for example.

    The current implementation with defaulting to New Member isn't exactly the greatest, as we are a "reset" but there are people that have been here for more than 12+ years.

    I would suggest simply removing that element from the display, unless someone has a better display idea.

      I can remove it from the template I think, but I do think the post count is still useful

        I don't believe that we should remove the member label.  Instead, I think we should enhance the labels to be more useful.  Here are the default labels and tiers.

        1. New Member
        2. Basic Member
        3. Advanced Member
        4. Veteran Member
        5. Senior Member

        Speaking to everyone...  What do you suggest as alternatives to these "ranks?"

          I understand the feeling Mitchel. It is a shame would couldn't retain the cred, but we had to start over technically speaking.

          I agree, Will, with the use of the labels. I don't have any specific ideas for better labels yet, but I will think on this.

            BTW I found that removing them isn't even possible in the templating

              Hi noobs!

              Temporarely, this css could hide it if we cannot tweak it.

              .aftopprofile {
                  display: none;
              }

              That being said, I would prefer if there was a way to manually set the post count to whatever some veterans had in the old forums...
