On January 14th, 2020 the life will run out of my Win Server 2008 R2 that has 10+ DNN installations of different versons. I have been testing a move of a smaller DNN 5 site to the new 2016 IIS 10 using different methods but still cannot get the site to work. I am NOT changing the database location just moving the DNN. From articles I have read online, this should be a simple process.
It occurred to me that maybe the DNN version is not compatable with the new IIS 10. Can someone help identify the correct way to move an older DNN site to a new server? Is there a list of minimum DNN versions needed to run on IIS versions?
Thank you.
I don't think it is an issue with IIS 10 but more with the .Net version you are running. What error do you see?

Side note, Please also update DNN to 9, DNN5 is has security issues that have been fixed since. (also some very serious ones)
