Recently I started up a DNN site on my development server and it started having problems displaying the home page. (DNN 9.2.2 with 2 3rd party modules installed). Sporadically it would error out, and eventually show the plain DNN Error page with a back link to the site, which of course just resulted in the same error). I found that the problem related only to the default page, so it must be a module. At first it mainly happened when trying to enter Edit mode for the page, but eventually the error was consistent at every load. After reviewing the Admin logs, it reported that it couldn't load the Microsoft.Owin dll file. It was missing from /bin. I hunted down the DLL from another project, installed it in /bin, and everything worked again. I did nothing to the system that I can recall that would account for losing this DLL. Has this 'vanishing DLL' ever happened to anyone?
