Yes, ProviderName="DDRMenuNavigationProvider" to ProviderName="DNNMenuNavigationProvider"  is the switch for this.
DDR menu is the "new" (DNN 6) menu and comes with DNN 9.
This does mean someone changed the menu provider in the ascx, but not the html files, when you parse the html it generates a new ascx and thus resets the menu back to the "old" menuprovider.

I'm littlebit confused, if DDRMenu is new, why I can't see it under Extensions - Providers ? When I modify/revert .ascx file to include ProviderName="DDRMenuNavigationProvider"  then menu become broken as I mentioned if first post. But in other hand,  hovering mouse over (broken) menu items generate link normally.

DDR Menu is the Menu default since DNN 6, I never checked if you can de-install it TBH.
The "old provider" loaded not only HTML but JS and CSS too.
I uses a lot of JS to displaying a menu, which was not easy to style / change at the time.
Because of that a community member create the DDR Menu.

DDR does not force you into a fixed menu system as what it renders is fully based on a template.
This is very flexible (you can create any menu you want with enough HTML /CSS knowledge) but it does mean you need to either create or download a template (with CSS/JS).

When you switch the menu provider over to DDR, there's probably some JS / CSS missing in the template used and thus the menu does not seem to work.

AFAIK there are no drop-in DDR templates for Minimal Extropy.
For DNN 6 a new skin was created instead of fixing the previous skin.

Hi, one more issue (nobody noticed before): with MinimalExtropy skin, it seems we cannot add new module to page. When user click "Add module", nothing happen. Any workaround for this ?
