Hi - I just upgraded to DNN 9.6.1 on a test website. I'm running CK Editor Provider 2.1.17. I notice after the DNN upgrade, that the HTML Editor source code no longer shows its sounce code highlighting (colored highlighting of html tags). (I seem to remember this happening on a previous upgrade, but I don't remember what the fix was).
In the CK Editor Provider settings, I see the "Code Mirror Theme (for Source Syntax Highlighting)" setting is blank, and there are no options available there. In our production site (where the code highlighting is working), that setiing is set to default (with many other options present in the dropdown) . So maybe these items are missing from the upgraded site.
Does anyone know how I can get my HTML source code highlighting working again in CK Editor?
Thanks
Tom
The fix was updating the web.config -
- Changing this tag:
from: [htmlEditor defaultProvider="DNNConnect.CKE”]
to:
[htmlEditor defaultProvider="CKHtmlEditorProvider”]
Hi Joe -
The tool that is inside Site Settings, right? I actually get a 401 when I click on that tool. I've asked around about fixing that, but I haven't found the solution. So I access the configuration tool using the "Custom Editor Options" link under the html module editor itself.
I looked in there, and couldn't find anything to fix the issue though.
(I edited my original post to show with square bracket tags)
Revisiting this issue - It turns out that the "DNNConnect.CKE" version works better for uploading files (the "CKHtmlEditorProvider" version's interface for uploading files doesnt work as well. ) But I can't seem to get the text selection plugin to work when using the "DNNConnect.CKE" provider (I've added version 1.0.8 and added the code to the config.js page)
Does anyone have any tips on how to get this to work?
