I installed a second authentication module (created by me from a copy of the default DNN authentication module.  Both were supposed to work side by side

Something happended, so I went to the Extensions page and uninstalled the new one.

Now the website is broken and I can't login.  When I click the login link, the login window pops up, the progress indicator spins a bit and then the window disappears with "A critical error has occurred. Please check the Event Viewer for further details." on the screen in a red/pink background.

I set log4 net to ALL and his is what appears:

can you reinstall the good login module by putting the 2 missing install files from an upgrade package in the install folder along with the module in the install/module folder and run install/install?mode=InstallResources and see if that helps bring it back to life?

Remember to delete the two install files after you have tried this if you do.

Thank you for reminding me of this trick!!

As my site is DNN 8.0.4, the required url needed install/install.aspx?mode=InstallResources
