We need to build a community website in DNN.
We prefer the platform editor and not the Evoq version. Is Evoq Engae still avaliable / active?

We need functionality like facebook timeline, forum, blog, groups, wiki etc.

What modules / solutions can we use? third-party?

      Hi Willem

No need for Evoq, platform is the preferred product nowadays.

What you want can be done is pretty much done on this website :-)
The timeline functionality is covered by the journal module. What is displayed in that timeline can be configured, like forum and blog. It's what we have done here as well. The only thing I am not sure of is the wiki.

I'd say: rack up a local site with NVQuicksite, install DNN Community forums, the blog and start configuring :-) I think you have a pretty good idea of what it is capable of within a few hours.

There is an open source module for wiki: https://github.com/DNNCommunity/DNN.Wiki

The wiki module above would need some love probably, the last release was in 2015. However if anyone wants to contribute to it we are here to help make it happen.

Nice, that would be a good one to see some interest in reviving. ;-)

                Thanks!

Where can I find the needed modules timeline, journal, forum, blog, groups, posts, notifications, wiki etc to create the community site (used on dnncommunity.org).
Default installed bij DNN? Github? dnnconnect?

Can someone post the the urls?

Most of the website was built using either 2sxc or OpenContent.

Nearly everything else can be found in the DNN Community organization on GitHub.  We have a mandate to only use open-source extensions on this website.
