    Hi All,

I have installed DNN 9.11.0 on my local. Can we create hierarchical/nested level layouts, i.e. create base layout with basic html/css/java scripts required in all kind of pages, and then using those base layouts in other layouts. To explain it further I have a scenario.

    Scenario :

Some pages require special links of left side of pages, some pages require links on right side of pages and some pages require links both on left and right parts of the pages. To handle such scenarios in ASP.Net we used to have hierarchical master pages as explained below :

      1. Base Master page used to have basic html like SEO level meta tags, title tags, google analytics required in all pages etc.
      2. One derived master page for left side links. This master page inherits from base master page explained above in point 1. All pages which require links on left side of the page used to implement this derived master page.
      3. Another derived master page for right side links. This master page also inherits master page explained above in point 1. All pages which require links on right side of the page used to implement this derived master page.
      4. And so on different kinds of master pages for different kind of scenarios, i.e. all of these master pages were created as nested levels/hierarchical.

Can we create such kind of hierarchical/nested level layouts? Also can these layouts user partial views/user controls?

    Regards

    Tarunjit Singh
