Upendo DNN Support Launches, Glanton Modules Return Next Week

We’re excited to share two big updates from our team at Upendo Ventures — updates we hope will help strengthen the DNN ecosystem for organizations and community members alike.

Today, we’re launching Upendo DNN Support, a subscription-based support service designed to offer reliable, expert assistance for those who rely on DNN Platform. And next week, we’re re-releasing the beloved Glanton Modules, which we’ve spent the past year modernizing and preparing for today’s DNN environments.

What Is Upendo DNN Support?

DNN has been around for a long time, and while that longevity is a huge strength, it also comes with complexity. For teams running legacy installations or maintaining large enterprise deployments, the stakes are high — and having a dependable support option can make all the difference.

That’s why we created Upendo DNN Support.

Support plans include:

Whether you’re new to DNN or have been managing it for years, we built this service to be the support we always wished we had ourselves.

The Glanton Modules Are Coming Back

Many in the community will recognize the Glanton Modules, originally developed by Ian Sampson and Barry Waluzko. For years, these tools have been go-to solutions for DNN deployments that need robust integration with Active Directory.

When our team began working with these modules, our first goal was simple: preserve what made them great. But as we got deeper, we knew we could go further — modernizing and improving them for today’s DNN users.

Here’s what we’ve done so far:

  • ✅ Removed Telerik
  • ✅ Fixed critical bugs
  • ✅ Improved overall performance and stability
  • ✅ Rebuilt the licensing engine from scratch (no more Salesforce)

We’re proud to reintroduce the following modules next week, now available through UpendoDNN.com:

Why It Matters

The return of the Glanton Modules — and the introduction of Upendo DNN Support — represent our ongoing investment in the future of DNN.

We know there’s a global community out there still building on DNN. And whether you're working from North America, Europe, or anywhere else in the world, you deserve access to dependable tools and real support from people who understand the platform inside and out.

This is about giving back, moving forward, and helping others build great things with DNN — just like we’ve all done for years.

Launch Offer for the Community

To mark the occasion, we’re offering 15% off any annual support plan now through the end of April 2025. Just use coupon code UPENDO15 at checkout.

And if you’re attending DNN-Connect 2025, we’d love to show our appreciation — show us your ticket before subscribing, and we’ll add another 5% off for a total of 20% off your first year.

Thank You

We want to sincerely thank Ian and Barry for their work on the original Glanton Modules, and thank all of you for continuing to show up for this community. Whether you’ve been using DNN since the DotNetNuke days or just discovered it last month, we’re honored to be part of this shared journey.

If you have questions or feedback, we’d love to hear from you. You can reach us anytime at UpendoDNN.com.

Here’s to what’s next.

Hi Will, Curious to read more about this. Sounds like awesome work :-) Unfortunately the pages on the Upendo website are blocked for me by Cloudflare. Hope you can tweak the Cloudflare rules a bit. Cheers Tycho

Whoopsie! We accidentally left CloudFlare off of our launch checklist. We fixed that this morning. We're still blocking some countries, but not all of them anymore. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤣
