DNN Technology Advisory Group – Recent Meeting Highlights

Written By Mitchel Sellers

Over the past two weeks, the DNN Technology Advisory Group has continued its regular cadence of conversations focused on strengthening the DNN Platform and improving how we communicate changes to the broader community.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the Approvers Group met and focused on three key areas:

  • Ongoing security processes and disclosure procedures, ensuring we continue to follow a responsible and transparent approach, including the 9.13.10 release plans.

  • A review of new MVC pipeline items, and what the next steps are for PR review

  • Planning for upcoming changes for future releases, and review of open PR's.

At this time, there are no publicly actionable items resulting from this meeting, but the discussions are helping shape the future roadmap and communication improvements.

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the TAG Group convened with the broader community. Discussion topics included:

  • Discussed the release of 9.13.10 that will be coming soon; more information will be shared in the future.  This is thanks to community sponsorship

  • Discussed the possibility of DNN Summit 2026, which will be a virtual conference. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.

  • Discussion was held around the bridge between the Technology Group & other groups and statuses regarding communication and content.

  • Ongoing work around Content Security Policy (CSP) contributions was shared with a demo of the current state by Peter Donker

We’d love to have more community members involved in these conversations. The DNN Technology Advisory Group meets every two weeks at 2:00 PM Central Time; the next meeting will be on 12/09/2025.

If you’re interested in joining future calls, please email Mitchel Sellers to be added to the invite list.

Mitchel, thank you for posting this update. The recent increase in communication within the community is encouraging to those of us who are outside the core teams yet are still dependent on the broader community and ecosystem.

Mitchel, do you record these calls? I’d like to listen to some so I can better understand some of these issues. Also, your post said to email you to be added to invite list for future calls but I don’t see any email address? Can you please add me to the invite list for future meetings? Thanks.

At this time, we do NOT record them solely to ensure open communication without concern for information leaking. (Client-specific issues, vendor support/compatibility items, etc). However, we may change this if needed, but often times the actual content can be more expressedly summarized. I've sent you the invite for the meeting, anyone can either message me here or email me at msellers @ Iowacomputergurus.com to be added
