Over the past two weeks, the DNN Technology Advisory Group has continued its regular cadence of conversations focused on strengthening the DNN Platform and improving how we communicate changes to the broader community.  This information summary was delayed in posting due to travel.

Meeting Summaries

On Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, the Approvers Group met to focus on a few key discussion points in preparation for the larger community group meeting the following week

• Reviewed, discussed, and scored pending security issues that have been reported and which release they are to be included in.

• Discussed the RC plan for the upcoming release and final preparation steps needed.

At this time, there are no publicly actionable items resulting from this meeting, but the discussions are helping shape the future roadmap and communication improvements.

The next scheduled meeting of this group will be dedicated to reviewing the currently in-progress Content Security Policy community contribution to ensure timely feedback is given.  This topic has been delayed due to the quality of security related items that were the focus of this week's discussion.

On Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, the Community TAG Group convened with the broader community. Discussion topics included:

• Discussion around the current RC release of DNN, and the need for a new RC at a minimum, based on feedback.  New RC to be coming soon as feedback items are addressed and the RC cadence will allow at least one full week to review given the findings.

• Discussed changes to SkinObjects and how we might address breaking changes, started by review of this GitHub Pull Request. Join the conversation here to provide your feedback.

• Peter Donker & Sacha gave an update about an upcoming Preview Release of the MVC contributions that are currently in-review within the main DNN Platform repository.
