Over the past four weeks, the DNN Technology Advisory Group has continued its regular cadence of conversations focused on strengthening the DNN Platform and improving how we communicate changes to the broader community.  Due to travel and other commitments, my posting of these updates was slightly delayed.

Meeting Summaries

On Tuesday, March 10th, and February 24th, the Approvers Group met in furtherance of long-term project support with a few key areas of discussion

• Reviewed ongoing changes to build processes to transition from Azure DevOps -> GitHub Actions to speed the time to develop/release

• Discussion of reported issues and difficulties with recent releases and methods to help improve the overall quality and behavior, where possible

• Discussed pending larger changes (CSP, Logging, and Bulk Install), targeting stability with current releases before introducing larger new features, with a potential target of 10.04.00 as the first inclusion of these items

• Discussed options of creating a 10.02.04 release to improve the overall flow of upgrades.

At this time, there are no publicly actionable items resulting from these meetings, but the discussions are helping shape the future roadmap and communication improvements.

On Tuesday, March 17th, 2026, and March 31st, the Community TAG Group convened with the broader community. Discussion topics included:

• Discussed the stability and cadence of releases and how we might better include community testing, BEFORE the releases, rather than hours after release.

• Reviewed a few vendor-specific issues that were reported with the DNN Platform and worked to identify how large-scale they may be.

• Discussion of possible additional support methods to test/validate releases with third-party, custom code, and other issues that are not as easy to replicate.

• identified methods and gaps in documentation of processes for upgrades that may help ease the upgrade process for users.  (Documentation of binding redirect issues and fixing them, etc)
