It is amazing how time can fly over the summer!  Although many people, myself included, have been traveling over the past eight weeks, we have continued to hold regular meetings of the DNN Technology Advisory Group, maintaining our cadence of conversations focused on strengthening the DNN Platform and improving how we communicate changes to the broader community.  

The below is a summary of activity from the past 2 months.

Meeting Summaries

On Tuesday, July 14th, July 28th, August 11th, and August 25th, the Approvers Group met in furtherance of long-term project support with a few key areas of discussion

• Finalization of the DNN Platform 10.3.3 release, which was published on July 22nd, 2026.

• Identification of internal communication plans for future release testing processes, and community outreach to encourage better participation during the Release Candidate Phase.  Also carrying this communication to the larger TAG meeting.

• Finalize and merge multiple pending changes targeted for the DNN 10.4.0 release as we prepare for its release candidate.

• Continued communication and collaboration with parties associated with the MVC pipeline project, working to set a review process and standard to continue moving these efforts forward in a manner that is sustainable for the DNN Platform project and the time and skills available from volunteers to integrate the solution.

• Review and publishing of all needed security bulletins related to the recent releases.

At this time, there are no publicly actionable items resulting from these meetings, but the discussions are helping shape the future roadmap and communication improvements.

On Tuesday, July 7th, July 21st, and August 18th, the Community TAG Group convened with the broader community. Discussion topics included:

• Review and discussion on the adoption of the 10.3.3 releases and the upcoming 10.4.0 release.

• Communication & discussion around methods to improve the Release Candidate review participation among the community

• Discussed upgrades and other priorities as they relate to the community with regard to future DNN platform upgrades and enhancements.  (What should be targeted next, etc).

• Discussed communication plans regarding the transition to the new upgrade process and how we might encourage ALL users to follow the new process while limiting the impact to those that might need other things.

• In each meeting, we also open it to each participant for any items they have for the group as a whole. There were no action items raised at this time that are not otherwise discussed.
