2 DNN instances on 1 dns and 1 DB

We want to deploy new site and give it some high availability.

The point is to make load balancer and send requests to 2 DNN app instances. Can both instances use same DB making possible to user logged in one instance, keep working on second instance after switching request by round-robin (as simplest load balcncing method)?
