Hey Everyone, I am having one HECK of a time trying to figure this out

I coded a custom News Feed module that uses javascript to display articles.

Natually i need to add these articles to the Lucene index so that our users can search for them

So I made a class that extends ModuleSearchBase and adds all the articles to the Lucene index.. I can verify that all the SearchDocument objects are indeed inserted into that index using LUKE, however when i search for keywords present in the title or the body of the SearchDocument objects that i added i am not getting any results.

Anyone have any idea why???

Congrats on posting!
Can it be the search module is not crawling the table? For 'normal' content, there is a scheduler that crawls the index and in the settings tab of the search results module you can select which types of content should be shown in the search results.

YOU ARE THE MAN, wow.. who wouldve thought to check the settings lol... anyways it does indeed work now.

Correct Answer: SELECT your Module from "Results Scope for Content Type(s)" setting.

Thank you thank you.
