Hi ,

I have done the proper setup in SMTP , but while doing TEST SMTP settings getting failed , please advice .

Error message :

I think the error message says it all. DNN sends as [email protected], but in the mail header [email protected] is the sender.

To resolve this, you have to add the web servers IP address as a relay for the mail server (sometimes 127.0.0.1 if this is the same machine).

Sometimes when I get errors doing SMTP tests I make sure that the superhost email account matches the one you're setting up in the SMTP server.
