I have DNN version 9.03.02 installed on my laptop.

This version of DNN uses CKEditor 4.5.3, but I would like to use the latest CKEditor 5.

Is this upgrade possible and if yes, then how would I do it once I have downloaded CKEditor 5 from https://ckeditor.com/ckeditor-5/download/?

you would need to adopt the DNN editor provider code (https://github.com/DNN-Co...ct/CKEditorProvider)

Same question here.. we like to use the latest version of CKEditor 5 in DNN 9.10.2
So the new CKEditor 5 including the DNN changes/integration... image, download, internal links etc.

Does anyone know if there's a new version available?

due to the number of changes between CKE 4 and CKE5, you would need a new HTML editor provider for DNN.

Based on CKE5 or do you suggest using an alternative Editor?

I noticed Umbraco has a very good and simple RTE... but I can't find if it's open source...

Looks like Umbraco is using TinyMCE

In the past some DNN vendors used TinyMCE in their modules... 2sxc, ventrian, xmod pro...
I don't know If they still use this editor? Did they make modifications to make it work with image/files form DNN?

Looks like an alternative if the license allows DNN (module developers) to use it
