Close forums in dnnsoftware.com?

The forums on DNNSoftware.com should be closed.

  1. Create a posting in each forum that points to the appropriate forum in DNNcommunity.com
  2. Pin that post, so it stays at the top
  3. Make the forum read-only to prevent entering new postings

I can do 1 & 2 for the forums I have access to, but I cannot execute 3.

I mad postings in almost all .com forums to redirect the user to the appropriate forum on DNNCommunity.org. IĀ pinned each of those postsĀ (if I was able to do so)Ā so that that .com forum post it is at the top of the .com forum. I did not have the rights to do so for each forum on .com.Ā

These Forums are for the discussion of the open source CMS DNN platform and ecosystem.

For the benefit of the community and to protect the integrity of the ecosystem, please observe the following posting guidelines:

  1. If you have (suspected) security issues, please DO NOT post them in the forums but instead follow the official DNN security policy. 
  2. No Advertising. This includes the promotion of commercial and non-commercial products or services which are not directly related to DNN.
  3. No vendor trolling / poaching. If someone posts about a vendor issue, allow the vendor or other customers to respond. Any post that looks like trolling / poaching will be removed.
