We are having problem with password reseting from the login module, we are getting the following error in the log file:
Password Sent Failure Cause:If the details entered were correct, you should receive an email message shortly with a link to reset your password.
When I send password reset link from the user admin page it works, but a normal user clicking on password reset button on the login module does not receive an email.
Can somebody help me out what causes the error?

Thanks for your reply. We have no problems with sending an email from our SMTP server, that is working fine. The only email the system does not send is de password reset mail.

Thanks for your reply, the only language that is actief on our intranet is the English(UK) language, so that should not be the problem. Do you maybe have another idea what the problem can be?
Same problem here. DNN 9.6.1. SMTP checks out ok at the Global/Host level and at the portal level (have settings configured for both, just for grins). Allowing email addresses as usernames. No public registration - I'm registering users manually, and users do get their initial registration emails so I know email is flowing from DNN properly. No other out of the box settings changed. I'm using Sendgrid for SMTP email relay, and it all checks out (the SMTP logs at Sendgrid never receive an incoming email from DNN for the password resets) so it feels like the problem is DNN itself.
