Our current country website www.CountryWebsite.com is working perfectly and accessible using a normal web browsers but when I toggle using browser's device emulator or access the website using my mobile device, it automatically redirects to our mother company's website www.MotherWebsite.com. The Site-Redirection-Management page is not displaying any but I can see values in Mobile_Redirections table in our SQL database. It's just saying that it should redirect to a particular portal Id (which is our mother company's website). I need to remove the redirection. Please help figuring out the issue.

Hello!

It's possible that something else beside the redirection feature(s) you've looked at may be getting in the way.  Some places to look include:

  • Page settings
  • Theme & theme objects
  • Custom module setting / module feature
  • URL / SEO provider(s)
  • SiteUrls(dot)config
  • web(dot)config
  • Database > PortalAlias table (not likely)
  • IIS
  • WAF (e.g., CloudFlare) or other firewall

(I may have missed one or two others, even.)

To help you troubleshoot this, you should turn on all debugging on the site and then recreate the redirect in a fresh (and incognito/private) browser window.

Then, look at the browser console and Log4NET log files to find clues as to what and why is causing the redirect.  Then, you can resolve this.

(Unfortunately, there will be a lot of log entries to go through. I'd suggest using a feature-rich text editor to help you sift through them all. I use Notepad++ for this.)
