Using Request.Form

Hi I have a GridView in a module. I am using jQuery UI sortable to reorder the rows and it works well. However, I cannot get Request.Form to return the values of the fields in the GridView so I can save the new order in the database. There is a button below the GridView and that is recognised as one of the values but the GridView itself or the fields are not available in the NameValueCollection returned from Request.Form. Repository module - upload approval

I need to moderate an upload item in the Repository Module, but i get the following error: Access Denied              'Either you are not currently logged in, or you do not have access to this content.' I get this message when I am logged in and logged in as the superuser (the main host user)! And if i log out and click on the link - it takes me to the upload section after logging in (the part where I upload a new item). Yet if I navigate to the page and click on 'moderate...

Secure Folder Sync

Hi, I'm trying to sync a secure folder after a file upload using Services.FileSystem.FolderManager.Instance.Synchronize(PortalId, 'Downloads/', True, True). The problem is that after issuing this code the folders (Downloads has 3 subfolders) are not secure anymore. Testing on DNN 9.2. Any ideas

Authentication Provider Pop-Up login

I've created a new custom authentication provider (logon, logoff, settings) and it works as supposed. The only thing i've noticed is that the logon.aspx no more appears as a pop-up window (it appears as a standard page), even when i disable ste standard DNN Auth. provider. Any ideas anyone.

Repository module - email confirmation message

On the Repository module - when an annonymous user uploads a document an email confirmation message is sent out to the admin user. I can't find where this message is, as i would like to edit it. I have done a search on the web server (notepad Find in all files) - which doesn't return anything. I have also searched the language settings under destop modules >> repository... but i can't find it in there either. Does anyone know where this email message could be please it looks like...

How to include the aspx web page when developing new module?

Dear Dnn Guru We know when we creat a page in DNN, it is a TabId-Based URL and worked as a ascx in default.aspx when load module in this created page. But sometimes we need some aspx pages accompanied with the developped module. That means this builded module consists with not only Edit, Setting, View ascxes, but also with some aspxes. How to add an existing module on all portals?

I am very new to DNN. I have a module on my page - http://localhost:10000/us. I want to have that module on all the other sites mentioned below: http://localhost:10000/demo http://localhost:10000/uk...//localhost:10000/de I tried 'IsShareable' checkbox under Advanced Settings of the module settings. But that didn't help. I expect the module to be added to my other sites too.

Communicate two MVC modules

Has anyone seen a real MVC based DNN module in the wild I am building in-house custom modules and have done a simple MVC module which SMSs people a code to log them in, but I want to create one which has multiple module definitions and which will allow me to quickly and easily add new stuff without creating a million projects for each individual module.   It really seems like because DNN doesn't support MVC routing (kind of important..) you can only build single view modules in MVC, which...

I copy the .pdb to the run URL BIN that is in different dir I start the URL & have Mod open In VS F9 to set Breakpoints They are Red In VS Attach to the above URL on IIS APPPOOL\URL BREAKPOINT change to White F5 Continue, F11 , F10 all Grey out
