Congrats on posting!

i'm upgrading an old site (DNN 5.6.8 to 6.2.8)

there seems to be an issue with the HTML modules not updating properly.

So i need to upgrade the HTML editor or ck editor.

however, i'm struggling to find information on what editor works with each DNN installation?

e.g.
there is a ckeditor download here:
https://ckeditor.com/docs...ev_installation.html

and here:

https://github.com/DNN-Co...torProvider/releases (but no info on compatibility are rarely an install file)

I would definiately take this upgrade further than just 6.2.8 for security reasons (09.06.02).
The fact that the HTML module does not update is mostly not caused by the Editor but by something else.
Did you try saving from the text only view?
BTW if you have to install an editor on DNN6, install the latest supported version fro DNN 6 of this editor https://github.com/w8tcha/dnnckeditor/releases, but make sure you switch to the DNN-Connect version from DNN 8 and up.
The DNN Connect editor comes with DNN, which is why there's not separate installer. You can extract it from the DNN install upgrade package if needed though.

Congrats on posting!

thanks, I am going to upgrade to DNN 9.6.2. Just working my way through it.

I wanted to get everything working at each stage, but then again, if there are technical problems with a module, maybe they could be resolved in further upgrades of DNN.
