Hello Community,

I have been using dnn for some time now - and I have never used iportable, isearchable, or iupgradable.

My question is the following - will dnn export my module settings during an export without implementing iportable?

If not, is there an easy to implement it just to get this to work.  I have no content in modules since it is just a grid with dnn module settings.  Using dnn 9.7.2 and Chris H module templates.

Thank you

ModuleSettings and TabModuleSettings are included in the default export https://github.com/dnnsof...troller.cs#L295-L296

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the reply - but it dosent work.  I tested this today, and the site export did not include my custom module settings.  I installed the same version of module before the import also.  It placed the module on page where it belongs - but again it did not include module settings.  So what is the best example of Iportable to look over - simple and basic.

It looks like the DDR Menu includes settings import/export, see https://github.com/dnnsof...ntroller.cs#L64-L102

Hi Brian,

I guess I do not understand what you are referring to?

The settings I mean are code within the settings.ascx file and code behind.

After looking at the tabmodulesettings table it does look like the settings were copied - but possibly the ids are different?  They sure dont show up in settings view or work for that matter.  Any idea's?
