adding chat to dnn header or default file

we're trying to add an external chat snippet to our DNN site, but it isn't working at the moment. The snippet works outside DNN so I'm wondering if there is something about DNN that would stop this code from working I have tried placing the snippet in the the default.aspx file and admin/skins/myheader.ascx file. I've tried in both the head and body of the default page, but it doesn't work. We have used a different chat provider in the past and their snippet of code worked ok in the same p...

Active Forums search - "The service is unavailable."

Hi Nukers, Another Active Forums issue.  When the 'Search Forums' feature is used, the website returns a ' The service is unavailable' page. I raised a ticket with the web hosting company (Managed.com), and they were not able to resolve it. Has anyone else dealt successfully with this issue and can shed some light on it DNN 9.6.1,  Active Forums 6.3.3 Thanks

Can a Module Subscribe to User Events?

We have a system that relies on a lot of GeoCoding. Any time a user's address is set or updated, we need to add GeoCode info for that user for our module. I know I could write a database trigger but I'm hoping DNN has a way for modules to subscribe to events. I saw some references to this in some places but the info was very old. Does this functionality exist Is there are current documentation WordPress has this functionality with it's add_action functionality. Anything similar in DNN

Upload module

Does anyone know of a module that will allow a rest call to upload a csv file along with credentials(username and password). I am planning on running my own scheduler job to check a certain folder and update database from uploaded csv file. Or does anyone have code that will do this

Looking for a documents archive module

Good Morning.  I recently upgraded our site from 7.2 to 9.10 and the older module I was using for a newsletter archive no longer works. I am looking for a comparable module that is compatible with 9.10.  In this module registered users were able to see a list of older newsletters in PDF format and had the option of viewing those online or downloading them.  I tried downloading the newest R7 Documents module last night as it looked to be the updated version of what we had, but I can not for the l...

What's up everybody! One of my clients use the users module as well as the registration part; he wants to add an extra field for email confirmation (in other words, when new users try to login they will need to confirm the email address as they do with the password), is this possible The website uses DNN version 09.09.01 (0) Regards,
