I haven't quite figured this one out ...

I have a Blog page, and I would like to show a few of the recent posts and teaser text on the home page.  When someone clicks the title to read the article, I'd like that to go to the Blog page.

I'm using a Blog module on the home page, with the main blog selected as the parent.  But, when I click a title, the blog post is shown on the front page.  Is there a way to alter this behavior? Thanks for the help.

I'm pinging Peter for you. Maybe he has a solution? Outside of that, I'd suggest maybe using the Reports or XML Module to do this instead (as a workaround).

The way Id' do that is to use the RSS feature. With RSS you're extracting the main module's content in XML. You can then consume that on your home page with a Newsfeeds module and use a transformation to show the posts as you wish. This is the way it's done on the DNN-connect site for instance. Peter

What's the difference between the RSS and XML modules again?

RSS is a protocol based on XML. For non-techies: XML is like a "language" and RSS is expressed in that language. "RSS feeds" are commonly found on news sites through a link on the page somewhere. This then commonly shows the latest articles in this XML language. You'd use the "Newsfeeds" or "XML" module (the former has a few more options and supports RSS out of the box) to show this RSS feed somewhere on your site (doesn't even need to be the same site).

I just remember the RSS and XML modules being nearly identical, is all...

Dont quote me on this, but I kinda remember that are two tokens available in the template engine, one just gets the blog post on the current page (querystring parameter only) and the other gets the "permalink" that will be on the actual blog page.
